Understand the decision
Define who decides, what information matters and what a good outcome looks like.
HUMAN-CENTERED AI
We design AI around the people who use it, the decisions they own and the consequences of getting it wrong. The result is useful intelligence with clear authority, review and control.
THE PROBLEM
The difficult part is deciding where AI belongs, what context it needs, when a person must remain in control and how the system should respond when confidence is low.
OrchLabs starts with the operation, not the model. We map the work, identify meaningful decision points and introduce AI only where it creates a clear improvement.
OUTCOMES
Faster access to relevant operational context
Consistent support for repeated decisions
Clear human review and override points
Explainable outputs and visible confidence
Monitoring for quality, drift and failure
APPROACH
Define who decides, what information matters and what a good outcome looks like.
Specify what AI may recommend, prepare or execute and where human approval is required.
Capture inputs, outputs, confidence, review and final action so the system remains understandable.
Use real feedback and monitored performance to refine the system without losing control.
DELIVERABLES
STRONG FIT
You do not need a technical brief. Start with the operational friction, risk and desired outcome.

The system is designed around the people, responsibilities and decisions in the operation. It makes the next step clearer, keeps authority explicit and provides review, override and recovery paths.
Yes. The model is selected after the use case, risk and data requirements are understood. The architecture can use hosted models, private deployments or deterministic software where AI is not the right tool.
Sometimes, but only when the authority, risk and fallback behavior are explicit. High-impact or uncertain cases should usually include human review.
